In six weeks we are on our way to Scotland. I don’t know if I describe how much I`m looking forward to this trip. Meet new people and see places I have never been to.
To start with we are staying in Edinburgh for four days and there is a festival going on at the same time so that will be lots of fun.
Of course we there is a few must we need do like any other tourists. See St Giles’ cathedral, National Museum, Greyfriars Kirkyard were Greyfriars Bobby once lived and died.
And many many other things but what we really looking forward is The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
This will be the 62nd extravaganza to be staged at the Scottish capital’s ancient Castle – a spectacular and inspiring backcloth for this remarkable and internationally acclaimed event. With innovative production, heart-stopping sound, imaginative graphics, state-of-the-art lighting and specially commissioned fireworks, the 90-minute show is set to captivate a large cosmopolitan audience. The line-up of nearly 1000 performers includes hundreds of musicians, pipers, drummers, singers and dancers.
After our time in Edinburgh we are continuing our journey northwards through Stirling, Fort William and Skye. From Uig we take the ferry over to the Isle of Harris.
The island of adventure, stunning landscapes and miles and miles of white sand beaches.
